Club Director and Coach- Carly Zinn
Carly is the head field hockey coach and assistant athletic director at Dickinson College. Zinn returned to Dickinson having served as the program's top assistant for three seasons (2010-2013). In her first season returning to Dickinson, Zinn led the Red Devils to a 12-7 record and an appearance in the semifinals of the Centennial Conference playoffs. Junior Kim Monteferante '18 was named the program's second All-American. The Red Devils broke school records for goals, assists and points in a season. In June of 2013, she was hired as the head field hockey coach at York College, where she spent three seasons building the Spartan program into a championship contender.While at York, Zinn turned the program around in her second year as the Spartans went from 4-12 to 13-7 and advanced to the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) semifinals. Carly coached York College's first ever All-American, and also had players named the CAC Rookie of the Year during two of her seasons. In addition to Zinn's on-the-field success, the team's overall GPA rose from a 3.0 prior to her arrival in 2013 to 3.42 in 2014-15, earning the highest team GPA for York athletics that year.
Zinn was a three-year member of the Lock Haven University field hockey team, missing her sophomore year due to a medical redshirt. She helped lead the Eagles to a stellar mark of 54-14 (79.4%) during her career. She earned a B.S. in psychology from Lock Haven in 2010 and received a master's of exercise science and health promotion from California University of Pennsylvania in 2014. Carly was born and raised in the Carlisle area and is proud to be raising her family here as well. Carly and her husband Trace have four children, Leo, Maggie, Morgan and Reagan (identical twins), and you will soon be seeing them around the pitch as well!

u16/u19 Coach- Aimee MacFarland
Aimee
is the assistant coach at Dickinson College. Aimee is a recent graduate of Delaware Valley University where she was a four-year starter for the Aggies. MacFarland was a standout defender and midfielder, starting all but one game in her career and serving as a team captain as a senior. In addition to field hockey, MacFarland was a member of the Aggie women’s lacrosse team, earning a starting role. She was a Peer Mentor while at Delaware Valley, a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, serving as the vice president during her senior year. MacFarland has gained some valuable coaching experience as well, working with the FSC Field Hockey Club and leading the U-16 team into the National Indoor Tournament in the spring of 2018. She is a 2015 graduate of Souderton Area High School, earning a starting role as a junior and senior and serving as a team captain in her final season. In addition, she has been part of the coaching staff at the Souderton Field Hockey Camp since 2014. A 2019 graduate of Delaware Valley, MacFarland earned a degree in Business Administration with a concentration on Sports Management. Aimee is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Sport Administration.

Goalkeeper Coach- Jess Gray
Jess joined the Dickinson College field hockey staff for the 2019 season and made an immediate impact in training the Red Devil goalies. Gray is a 2019 graduate of Juniata College where she was goaltender on the Eagles’ field hockey team all four years. The Eagles captured a Landmark Conference Championship, earning a bid to the NCAA Tournament in 2017.
Gray graduated from Bordentown Regional High School in Bordentown, N.J. She was a four-year letter-winner in field hockey and competed in track & field as well. She received National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) High School National Academic Squad honors all four years.
She graduated from Juniata with a B.A. in Art History, receiving Honors Distinction in Program of Emphasis. During her time at Juniata she was a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee and has gained experience in coaching while working running clinics and field hockey camps, specifically focusing on training goalkeepers.

u16/u19 Coach- Lindsay Nye
Lindsay is entering her first season with PAAC. She graduated from York College of PA in 2019 and enjoyed her time playing field hockey for the Spartans. Lindsay was a 3 year starter and earned recognition for both first-team and second-team All-Capital Athletic Conference selection and was a  NFHCA All-Region pick. She was also named was named the NFHCA/Longstreth National Offensive Player of the Week after scoring a program-record five goals in one game. Nye finished her illustrious career with 101 points on 42 goals and 17 assists. She was the fifth Spartan to reach the century mark in career points and was also fifth all-time in goals. She finished her career fifth all-time in game-winning goals at 11 and eighth in program history with 230 career shots. Nye also was a four-time All-CAC performer including making her second appearance on the All-CAC first-team.
Lindsay grew up in Duncannon, PA and now lives in Enola, PA with her fiancé and two dogs. She is currently the Programs Manager at Soccer Shots Harrisburg/York and has a passion for helping children and young adults learn and grow through sports. During her free time, she loves working with her dogs, staying active, drinking coffee and helping others!
